Hi all,
This is my first event (Bevin´s skiff) and I would like to get some more feeling for planning: At which building stage should the boats be at day 1 and day 2 in order to finish in time at day 3 ?
Also, is there some kind of play book circulating around that can be used for planning purposes, with do´s and dont´s, do you need reserve material you need for when people mess up some critical part, etc. ?
Thanks, Jules

Last year, I put together my thoughts on how to run an event. It has the schedule for a two day event. I'll e-mail it to you.
By the beginning of next week, I should have a rough cut video/ DVD of "How to run an event." We'll either send it out or put it up on the website.
Best, Joe

I would suggest calling or e-mailing the folks at Alexandria Seaport Foundation. I spoke to them last week and they were very helpful (their director designed the Bevin). I think they do have a "playbook" of sorts for planning.
